OUR VISION

To grow our church through Pentecostal Worship, Preaching and Teaching the Lord Jesus Christ and the centrality of the word God. We will make disciples through youth ministries, family ministries, outreach ministries and multi-ethic outreach. We want to be a community church with a world vision.

CORE VALUES

Obedience to God’s Word: We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and is must be the basis of our faith, worship and ministry. In order to please God, we must live and serve in obedience to His Word.

Prayer: We believe that prayer is essential to effective ministry. Prayer is cooperation with God in relation to His great scheme of salvation for all men. By praying as a church and as individual Christians, we acknowledge that we are depending upon God to enable us in our ministry.

Holy Spirit Direction: We covet the in filling and anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives individually and in the church collectively. We know that effective ministry cannot take place without the direction and enablement of God’s Spirit in the church.

People: People are our business. We accept that the primary purpose of this church is to win lost people and bring them to maturity in Christ. We believe that Jesus died to save all people regardless of their racial, social, gender or economic standing. We are, therefore, committed to extend Christ’s love, acceptance and forgiveness to all.

Believer Mobilization According To Gifts: We are committed to bringing believers to maturity in Christ, assisting them in the discovery of their spiritual gifts and equipping them for works of ministry within the church and to the world at large for the glory of God.

Revival and Harvest: We accept the responsibility the Lord has placed upon us to be a leader in the movement of Revival. We will stay the course without regard to cost or consequences. We will not rest until we have reached every lost soul and restored everyone who has fallen away. We will endeavour to reach the lost through Evangelism in our local community. We see Labourers for God’s Kingdom Work.

HISTORY OF BAMBERG CHURCH OF GOD

Our Church is reaching her finest hour. Throughout the years we have struggled as a Pentecostal Movement in our location. Our Church is located in a poor community and we are often seen as being located on the wrong side of the tracks. We believe God has a purpose for our Church right where we are. We are seeking long-term stability with Pastoral tenures so that our Church can earnestly seek the Harvest. We are seeking to train other leaders that will work with the Lead Pastors as we go out into the highways and hedges to compel the lost, broken, oppressed, hurting, abandon and abused.

Our Scripture Verse for this Day and Hour:

“No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that riseth up against us, God shall condemn.”

We will be like a tree planted by the water, that shall not be moved!
